Hi, I'm DeLesa! I am an award winning Executive Coach, leadership development/culture strategist, and training facilitator with more than 20 years of experience in leadership and executive level roles in California State government and non-profit organizations.
My extensive experience and on-going work with numerous organizations gives me a deep understanding of the challenges leaders face, as well as an appreciation for the pivotal role they play in shaping organizational culture, fostering team dynamics, and driving results. This understanding fuels my passion and dedication to cultivating exceptionally effective leaders, high-performing teams, and cultures of excellence.
I achieve this via coaching and by expertly applying a range of methodologies, including CliftonStrengths, Everything DiSC® (Workplace, Management, Agile EQ, Work of Leaders, and Productive Conflict), Five Behaviors® of a Cohesive Team, Six Types of Working Genius®, and The Leadership Challenge® (Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership). These methodologies provide a plethora of research-validated tools, strategies, and techniques to elevate my clients’ leadership skills and effectiveness, enhance employee engagement, and foster profound culture transformations.
My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco, complemented by a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from National University. I completed my ICF-approved coach training at the University of California, Davis and Symbiosis Coaching, USA.
I am proud to hold the distinction of being a certified Executive and Career Coach by the Certified Coaches Alliance, a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, and an Everything DiSC® and Five Behaviors® Certified Practitioner and Authorized Partner.
